One of the primary challenges in augmented reality (AR) for the industrial enterprise is the effective utilization of CAD files from complex products. This application was developed as a proof of concept to assess whether we could simplify this process by leveraging AR in an easy-to-use, intuitive tablet application. The app enables users to seamlessly identify parts on a product via AR, complemented by a user-friendly menu or parts tree.

My Contributions

• Collaborated with Product Management to delineate projects for the engineering team into distinct phases, facilitating sprint planning.

• Designed and prototyped the user interface (UI) and interaction design patterns.

• Worked closely with engineering to define functional requirements.

• Developed comprehensive UI specifications in Figma for an efficient handoff to the engineering team.
